"زهرة الأقحوان" تنظيم نسائى مسلح أنشئ فى فلسطين فى البدء كجمعية إجتماعية نسائية تهتم بشئون الإنسان والوحدة بين معتنقى الأديان فى فلسطين وتهتم بالفقراء خاصة الطلبة من بنى وطنها، تأسست الجمعية على يد الأختان "مهيبة خورشيد"و "عربية خورشيد" وقد حولت مسار الجمعية من حركة إجتماعية إلى تنظيم مسلح فى عام 1948
حين شاهدت مهيبة خورشيد أمام عينيها مقتل أحد الأطفال الفلسطينين بين يدى أمه جراء رصاصة أطلقها عليه جندى من الجيش البريطانى.وقد انضمت إليها فيما بعد المناضلة الغزاوية "يسرا البربرى" "عادلة فطايرى" "يسرا طوقان" و "فاطمةأبو الهدى" وأيضًا انطلق من رحمها منظمة "الأرض" التى كن من قادتها "نجلاء الأسمر" و "جولييت زكا"

ويذكر أن بعض مجاهدى سيناء وبعض الألمان كانوا يشاركون فى تنظيم "زهرة الأقحوان" ، وكان نشاط التنظيم متمركزًا فى "يافا" خاصة وقت الإشتباكات بين أهل يافا ومستوطنى "تل أبيب" وكان النشاط إما بمدهم بالمقاومة المسلحة أو جمع التبرعات...
ويذكر أن "المهاتما غاندى" كان قد إستعان بنفس المسمى وخطة التنظيم التى وضعتها "مهيبة خورشيد" فى الهند.

Its a fail! Its sexism promoted to another level...and since everyone prefers being a sexist, feminist or masculinist, they like this video...they share it...make it viral...feel happy that what a wonderful thing they are doing by spreading a good word.

In a country where capital punishment is celebrated, does it really make sense to use a campaign with reverse psychology? Rightly apprehended Mr Tanmay, only if everyone was sane and could understand real value of a human being first before bringing in this gender inequality, the campaign would have backfired. But since most of us Indians are ruled by our own whims and fancies and biases, it brought you success. In absolute truth, its a fail. The video is full of hatred. Not that hideous crimes like rape should not instill hate, but there's always a better way to portray it.

Do telling urban educated people about how rape is bad and how one should respect women make true sense. Why don't these intelligent marketeers go to the grass-root levels to find a solution. One can easily find out through WHO reports about who are the real target audience for campaigns like this. Who are the people that need to be educated to such atrocities are eradicated.

دي الاحداث اللي بتحصل جوا الدايرة القذرة وفي ناس بتلاحظ وتحاول تنقذها وهنا يبدأ المعتدين في ادعاء انهم منقذين فيصبح الحابل بالنابل ويصعب على الفتاة نفسها التمييز بينهم عشان كده اتكونت مجموعات قوة ضد التحرش وتحرير بودي جاردز لإنقاذ البنات وبيقدروا في معظم البلاغات اللي بتوصلهم انهم ينقذوا البنت لأنهم بيكونوا مجموعة عارفين بعض وده مهم جدا وسط الزحمة عشان في اللحظة دي مفيش حد ممكن تثق فيه ابداً

Pregnant Muslim woman attacked in Paris loses baby

Despite all medical efforts, a pregnant Muslim woman who was attacked by two Islamophobic men in the Paris suburb of Argenteuil on Thursday suffered a miscarriage and lost her baby, her lawyer said on Tuesday.

The 21-year-old Muslim woman, who was four months pregnant, was physically attacked by two men. The attackers first tried taking her headscarf off and later cut off her hair and tore part of her clothing. After she screamed out that she was pregnant, one of the attackers started kicking her in the stomach.
She was taken to Argenteuil hospital where she underwent treatment for injuries.
Daily Mail reported that the police said that the men had shouted racist insults at the woman, saying that the veil was no longer acceptable in France.
“Her husband called me this this afternoon. She lost the baby,” the lawyer told AFP news agency. He added that the family were devastated by the tragedy and would not be making any further comment.
French police officer involved in the investigation confirmed to AFP that she lost her baby.
The prosecutor for Pointoise, Yves Jannier, also said the woman had been kicked in the hip before she managed to flee.
In a related incident, another Muslim woman wearing a headscarf was also attacked three weeks ago in the same region of Paris.

السعودية- الحكم على المدافعتين عن حقوق الإنسان وجيهة الحويدر، و فوزية العيوني بالسجن عشرة أشهر والحظر من السفر لمدة سنتين

بتاريخ 15 يونيو/حزيران 2013، حكمت المحكمة الجزئية في الخبر على اثنتين من المدافعات عن حقوق الإنسان، وجيهة الحويدر، وفوزية العيوني بالسجن لمدة عشرة أشهر، وذلك بعد محاكمة استمرت عاماً. لقد فرض القاضي فهد الجديع أيضاً حظراً على السفر لمدة سنتين على المدافعتين عن حقوق الإنسان بحيث يصبح نافذ المفعول بعد اكمالهن حكم العشرة أشهر.

وحكم القاضي على الامرأتين بتهم تضمنت محاولة تخريب العلاقة الزوجية بين زوجة كندية وزوجها السعودي، المقيم في الدمام، وتحريضها على الفرار. وكذلك فقد برأهن من التهم الأخرى وهي محاولة تهريب الزوجة  وأطفالها الثلاثة إلى السفارة الكندية في الرياض.

بتاريخ 7 يونيو/حزيران 2011، استلمت مدافعتا حقوق الانسان رسالة نصية  تفيد ان الزوجة الكنديه واطفالها الثلاثة يتعرضون للعنف وان زوجها قد أغلق عليهم المنزل. وذكرت الرسالة النصية أيضا أن الأطفال يتضورون جوعاً.  قامت المدافعتان بأخذ بعض الأطعمه وتوجهوا الى المنزل ليكتشفوا ان الزوج قد وضع لهم كميناً بعد استيلائه على جهاز الهاتف النقال الذي ارسلت منه زوجته الرسالة النصية. وعندما وصلت الشرطة فانها اعتقلت الحويدر و العيوني بتهمة محاولة تهريب الزوجة وأطفالها الثلاثة.

 وقالت المدافعتان عن حقوق الانسان في بيان صدر بنفس اليوم، 15 يونيو/حزيران 2013:

”كان واضحاً بالنسبة لنا منذ البداية حين دُعينا للتحقيق من قبل الادعاء العام في الدمام ان القضية كيدية وان من قام بتحريكها ضدنا من الجهات المعنية اراد الاساءة لنا كحقوقيات واراد التضييق علينا وايقاف انشطتنا الانسانية، لأن تلك القضية منذ ليلة حدوثها قبل عامين قد الغيت بأمر من امير المنطقة الشرقية واقفل المحضر"

واضافتا: 

" وختاماً سنطعن في هذا الحكم، الى محكمة الاستئناف، وسنرفع اعتراضنا عليه."

يعتقد مركز الخليج لحقوق الانسان ان المدافعتين عن حقوق الانسان قد تم استهدافهما بهذه  التهم الملفقة  التي تفتقد الدليل، لدفاعهما الطويل والمتواصل عن حقوق المرأة في البلد ومشاركتهما الفعالة في حملة حقوق النساء "بلدي" ومطالبتهما بحق المرأة في قيادة السيارة.

يدعو مركز الخليج لحقوق الانسان السلطات في المملكة العربية السعودية على:

 1. إسقاط جميع التهم ضد وجيهة الحويدر، وفوزية العيوني فوراً ودون قيد أو شرط، والغاء حكم السجن الصادر ضدهم؛

2.  الرفع الفوري وبدون شروط لحظر السفر المفروض على المدافعتين عن حقوق الإنسان وجيهة الحويدر، وفوزية العيوني؛

3. اعادة النظر في  التوصيف القانوني لمفهوم "التخبيب" أو تحريض النساء على أزاوجهن، حيث ان هذه المارسة يتم الحكم فيها دون إجراءات قانونية سليمة و واقية. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، فإن معظم المدافعين عن حقوق النساء سيتم مسائلتهم قانونياً إذا عرضوا مساعدتهم لمساعدة النساء عند تعرضهن لمحنة محلية؛

.4. ضمان وفي جميع الظروف قدرة المدافعين عن حقوق الإنسان في السعودية على القيام بعملهم المشروع في مجال حقوق الإنسان دون خوف من الانتقام وبلا قيود تذكر وبما في ذلك المضايقة القضائية.

 يذكر مركز الخليج لحقوق الانسان باحترام السلطات السعودية  أن إعلان الأمم المتحدة المتعلق بحق ومسؤولية الأفراد والجماعات وهيئات المجتمع في تعزيز وحماية حقوق الإنسان والحريات الأساسية المعترف بها عالميا، و الذي تبنته الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في 9 ديسمبر/كانون الاول عام 1998، يعترف بشرعية أنشطة المدافعين عن حقوق الإنسان، و بحقهم في حرية تكوين الجمعيات، والقيام بأنشطة من دون خوف من الانتقام. نود لفت انتباهكم بشكل خاص إلى المادة 5 (ج) التي تنص على انه:

لغرض تعزيز وحماية حقوق الإنسان والحريات الأساسية، يكون لكل شخص الحق، بمفرده وبالاشتراك مع غيره، على الصعيدين الوطني والدولي، في:

 ج) الاتصال بالمنظمات غير الحكومية أو بالمنظمات الحكومية الدولية 

والمادة 6 (ج) التي تقول  لكل شخص الحق، بمفرده وبالاشتراك مع غيره، في:

(ج) دراسة ومناقشة وتكوين واعتناق اﻵراء بشأن مراعاة جميع حقوق الإنسان والحريات الأساسية في مجال القانون وفي التطبيق على السواء، وتوجيه انتباه الجمهور إلى هذه الأمور بهذه الوسائل وبغيرها من الوسائل المناسبة.

Article hommage aux femmes - Oueslati Mootez Billah

Il est courant de dire que la femme représente la moitié de la société. C'était vrai au moment où la femme s'occupait uniquement de son ménage et de l'éducation de ses enfants. De nos jours, les charges qui incombent à la femme sont plus nombreuses, plus lourdes encore, de plus en plus diversifiées, parfois plus responsables mêmes que celles de certains hommes. En effet, la femme fonctionnaire, employée ou qui exerce un quelconque travail à l'extérieur de son foyer, assume plusieurs responsabilités à la fois, plus compliquées les unes que les autres et confronte beaucoup des problèmes et parfois elle donne sa vie pour faire vivre ses enfants. C'est le cas des deux femme TUNISIENNE aujourd'hui, qui ont perdue leur vie suite à un accident terrible sur le chemin de leur travail ! Mes sincères condoléances pour la famille de ces deux femmes , mes respects pour toutes les autres femmes laborieuses qui souffrent de l'humiliation et la marginalisation et mes meilleurs vœux pour un prompt rétablissement pour toutes les blessées de l'accident ( Trentaine des femmes ).
Un vibrant hommage également à toutes les femmes, veuves ou divorcées, qui chaque matin vont à l'assaut d'un travail pour faire nourrir leurs enfants, faire vivre un mari handicapé, même si cela leur demande d'oublier leur dignité humaine et de sacrifier ce qui leur est chair à la fois dans leur âme et dans leur peau. Toutes ces femmes anonymes que l'on rencontre tous les jours, méritent tout autant que les autres un vibrant hommage et un grand respect.
Bravo mesdames, vous méritez plus qu'un hommage. Vous méritez un respect total. C'est dommage que beaucoup d'hommes ne sont pas conscients de l'ampleur de la responsabilité des femmes. Ils voient cela comme un acte ordinaire. Or il ne l'est pas du tout. Leur implication est exceptionnelle et merveilleuse.

Lotika Sarkar - Indian Icon - Pioneering feminist & lawyer but teacher foremost

Lotika Sarkar had several firsts to her credit, apart from being the first Indian woman to graduate with a doctorate from Cambridge and to take professorship at Delhi University. She was one of the signatories of the open letter to the Chief Justice of India that triggered reforms of rape laws in the eighties and one of those who took leadership in exposing the practice of female foeticide through amniotic fluid tests.
She often stated that the membership of the Committee on the Status of Women and travel through the length and breadth of the country sharpened her understanding of gender discrimination, which prompted all her subsequent public policy interventions.
She took premature retirement from the University of Delhi to be one of the founding members of the Centre for Women Development Studies.
While Lotika Sarkar’s contribution to the cause of the rights of women is notable, her contribution as a teacher is exceptional.
Despite her multitude of other roles, Prof Sarkar never side-lined her responsibilities as a teacher. She was a teacher who taught enough to excite, to reflect, to question but never to take over.
You could never write a research paper for Prof Sarkar passing off the opinion of another as your own. She would not just, like we do today, throw an academic misconduct policy or charge of plagiarism at you - she would also persistently ask, “But why do you think so?”
Her probing and persistent questions would get students to realise that appropriating the work of another was both dishonest and painful. And if the pain of justification and defence had to be undergone, it was better to undergo that pain for something you created yourself; with such pain would also came the pleasure of creation and ownership.
With this realization she helped her students to internalise the values of intellectual integrity and of doing the right thing, irrespective of consequences, because it is the right thing to do.
It is ordinarily believed that the classroom is the designated place of operation of a teacher and her teaching responsibilities are primarily to her students.
But Lotika Sarkar’s teaching activities were neither limited to the classroom nor to her students. All those who came into contact with her, in the university and outside, learned from her.
They learned the values of dignity, integrity, humour and grace; learned to stand up for their beliefs; learned to be themselves and to be happy about it. This large family of friends, admirers, students and votaries celebrated her life in a collection of essays entitled Engendering Law - a celebration which did not cease after publication of the essays.
Lotika Sarkar belonged to an era which believed in relationships not networking. She cultivated friendships for the richness they gave to life; and nurtured friends by helping them believe in themselves.
She is survived by all those who feel she made them who they are by giving to each of them a bit of herself.
It is with eternal gratitude that I, on behalf of her innumerable students, bid farewell to this pioneering feminist of the law academy; to a teacher who revelled foremost in the successes of her creations and who did not cease to give till the very end.

Niloofar Rhmani became the first woman to graduate from the Afghan Air Force since the 1980s

Last month, Niloofar Rhmani became the first woman to graduate from the Afghan Air Force since the 1980s, and her story is making her a popular symbol of changing times.

The 21-year-old from Kabul was awarded her flying wings on May 14 aftersuccessfully completing the air force's undergraduate pilot training program, according to the Washington Times. The program demanded roughly 145 flying hours, and Rhmani spent nearly a year learning English to qualify. "First, it was my ambition, and second, I want to show that Afghanistan can have female pilots," she told the Times.

Rhmani's story has received nearly 30,000 upvotes since being posted to Reddit on Tuesday.

"That woman just overcame not only the pilot training, but massive cultural resistance to get where she is. Massive respect is due," wrote user AttackTribble.

Another user, an Afghan male who grew up outside the country, wrote, "I'm proud that she's giving hope to all the little girls back home who have to better themselves under daily threats of violence. I hope this is the beginning of changing attitudes back home."

While some sources have claimed that Rhmani is Afghanistan's first female pilot,other reports have proved otherwise.

Still, Rhmani is hoping her success will pave the way for more women to pursue their dreams.

"Now my goal is to help my country have a bright future and stand up for females. I helped break down the doors for them after me," Rhmani said in a story published on the website of the U.S. Air Forces Central Command.

Kurds manifesting after the killing of three Kurdish activist

Thousands of Kurds have taken to the streets of Paris, demanding justice for the killings of three Kurdish women. Turkish Prime Minister Recept Tayyip Erdogan has demanded that France immediately clarify the circumstances of the deaths.
